PRESCOTT, ARIZONA-Graveside services for Gordon Keith Massey, 79, of Prescott, Arizona, formerly of the Ada area, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Oakman Cemetery, Rev. David Gray will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Massey died Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born August 13, 1934 in Ada, Oklahoma to Mart and Nellie Owens Massey. He attended Oakman grade school and graduated from Byng High School. He moved to California, Washington and later to Arizona. He graduated from Antelope Valley Junior College at Lancaster, California.
He married Carol Stauffer on October 8, 1971. Mr. Massey was a sub-station electrician, and later was a home builder, home maintenance and landscaper. Mr. Massey was of the Protestant faith and had served in the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Massey, of the home; three daughters, Diana Tolcacher of Prescott, AZ, Terri Hecht of West Richland, WA, and Lisa Hamilton of Kennewick, WA; a step-son, Steve Rockwell of Gilbert, AZ; a step-daughter, Joy Rockwell of Phoenix, AZ; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
