JOYCE LAMB
ADA-Graveside services for Golden Joyce Lamb, 74, Ada, are 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Five Mile Cemetery, east of Ada. Rev. Robert Eberle will officiate.
Ms. Lamb died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born August 14, 1935 at Ada, Oklahoma to Lee and Myrtle Stephens Woodward. She attended McLish schools. She lived in the Ada and Fittstown area all her life.
She married Glen Lamb on October 20, 1956. He died December 23, 1999. Ms. Lamb was a homemaker and a home health provider. She had previously worked as an elevator operator at the American building. Ms. Lamb was a member of the Ada Baptist Temple.
Survivors include daughter, Glenda Wall and her husband Evert, Ada; a son, Cliff Lamb, Ironton, MO; three granddaughters, Tiffany McNutt, Tulsa, Christina Wiley, Tulsa, and Melissa Cox, Plano, TX; one great granddaughter, Raegan Posey, Tulsa; three brothers, Jerry Woodward, Shawnee, Harold Woodward, Fairview, and Arvil Woodward, Fairview; and a sister, Hazel Woodward, Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Glen Lamb; her parents, Lee and Myrtle Woodward; a brother, Warren Woodward; and a sister, Rita Woodward.
