Graveside services for Glenna Mae Cowart, 79, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Bill Adams will officiate.
Ms. Cowart passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at a local nursing home. She was born September 24, 1937 in Antlers to George W. and Delores Arlene Basden Cowart. She attended Horace Mann school in Ada.
Ms. Cowart was a nurse's aide in several Ada nursing homes.
Survivors include two sisters, Georgia Sampson and husband Loyd and Becky Blackburn and husband Steve, all of Ada; a brother, Danny Cowart of Wann, OK; her nieces and nephews, Kevin Sampson, Kimberly Sampson, Tracy Cowart, James Cowart, Amy Blackburn and Clint Blackburn; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to: PAWS (Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society), 1200 Sandy Creek Drive, Ada, OK 74820.
