Services for Charles Glendon "Glen" Taylor, 88, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy and Pastor Richard "Snip" Allen will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Taylor passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born August 6, 1930 in Ada to Luke Zachary and Gladys Nickell Fenton.
Mr. Taylor a pipeline supervisor for Boettcher Oil and Gas for 36 years. He was in the oil and gas pipeline industry for 47 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Wooten of Duncan and Brenda Hall and husband Bruce of Ada; four grandchildren, Angie Johnson and husband Kenneth of Edmond, Brian Goodwin of Ada, Kendra Sullivan and husband Michael of Tecumseh and Grant Hall of Ada; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Rilla Webb and husband Roy, Ada; three brothers, Jim Taylor and wife Lois, Pottsboro, TX, Van Reed and wife Doris, Ada and Tommy Cochran Spring Hill, TN; Glen's sweetheart, Minnie Walden of Ada; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Wayne Taylor; four brothers; and a sister.
Bearers will be Danny Stafford, Grant Hall, Brian Goodwin, Kenneth Johnson, Roger Richardson and Michael Sullivan. Honorary bearers will be Darrell Hooser, Bill Black, Bruce Hall and Pete Peterson.
