GLEN LOVIN
ADA-Services for Glen Hughey Lovin Sr., 68, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood officiating.
Mr. Lovin passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at a local nursing home. He was born January 23, 1941, in Oklahoma City to William and Geraldine Cole Lovin. He moved to this area in 1955 from Talihina. He attended school at Buffalo Valley schools near Talihina. He served in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff and Police Officer and later drove a truck for Lee Way Trucking.
He married Rochelle Jean Phelps on October 29, 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Rochelle Lovin, of the home; three sons, Glen H. Lovin Jr., Oklahoma City; James Lovin, Ada; and Glendon Lovin, Ada; two daughters, Elizabeth Decker, Ada; and Tammy Moomey, Oklahoma City; 9 grandchildren; four brothers, Melvin Lovin, Las Cruces, New Mexico; Bill Lovin, Ada; Tim Lovin, Oklahoma City; and Ted Lovin, Kingston; 7 sisters, Carolyn Birth, Kingston; Helen Waller, Checotah; Ginger Stephens, Moore; Norma Moberly, Ada; Jerry Dean, Ada; Jo Ann McCarty, Ada; and Mary Ida Guinn, Allen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Borthick.
