Glen Cockrill

Services for Glen Edward Cockrill, 72, of Ada are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Stevenson will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Cockrill passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his home. He was born July 16, 1946 at Atoka to C. L. "Bus" and Myrtle Pierce Cockrill. He graduated from Stringtown High School and attended East Central University.

He married Colleen Hodge July 28, 1967. Mr. Cockrill was a AST Civil Servant for the National Guard here in Ada and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen, of the home; two sons, Carl Cockrill and wife Angie of Tulsa and Thomas Cockrill of Montana; a twin sister, Kay Cooper and husband James of Ada; five grandchildren, Amanda Hightower and husband Ronnie, Drew Cockrill, Colton Cockrill, Gabriel Cockrill and Eribella Cockrill; and three great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Jimmy Christenberry, Larry Nickols, Darrell Rhoades, Farrell Rhoades, Garry Harrison and Buster Greenwood.
