GILBERT WORCESTER
TAHLEQUAH-Services for Gilbert Ray Worcester, 58, Tahlequah, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Faith Baptist Church, Rev. Tony Buck will officiate. Burial will follow at Seely-Blue Cemetery. A Wake Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Robin Fulsom, 1217 Bolton Street in Ada.
Mr. Worcester died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at his home in Tahlequah. He was born May 30, 1950 at Talahina, Oklahoma to Nick and Lillian Sealy Worcester. He attended schools in Pontotoc, Allen, and Sequoyah. He attended Northeastern State University.
He married Melissa Chotkey October 20, 1975. Mr. Worcester was a draftsman in the landscaping business. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Worcester, of the home; children, Sherry Ellis and husband Marc, DeQueen, AR, Cassandra Pena and husband Adolfo, Marietta, and Randal R. Worcester, Tulsa; sisters, Robin Fulsom and husband Weldon, Ada, Della C. Miller and husband Alvin, Ada, Genvena Worcester, Oklahoma City, and Rose Worcester, Oklahoma City; brothers, Douglas Worcester, Ardmore, Edward D. Worcester, Eagletown, Oklahoma, Nick Worcester, Jr., McAlester, Willard Worcester, Stonewall, and Arlington Worcester, Allen; aunts, Bernice Sealy, Weleetka, Ruby Berryhill, Okmulgee and Cynthia Sealy, Geary; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Lillian Sealy Worcester, his grandparents, Arlington and Nora Colbert Worcester, and Gilbert and Caroline Leader Sealy; two brothers, David D. Worcester, and Cleveland Worcester; and two uncles, Cecil Worcester and Norman Worcester.
Bearers will be Edison Sealy, Weldon Fulsom, Bobby Sealy, Joe Brown, and Chester Chotkey. Honorary bearers will be Larry Colbert, Ray Meeley, Charlie Carter and Randal Worcester.
