Gerald Machin

Gerald Eugene Machin, 79, of Ada, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at his home.  He was born July 30, 1946, in Walnut, KS, to James Edward and Anna Swiffle Machin.

On June 24, 1992, he married Shirley Jean True.  Mr. Machin was a rancher until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; son, Nathan Machin, of Ada; daughter, Keely Machin of Lane; two step-daughters, Angela Brown and husband, Josh, of Arlington, TX and Amanda Lawhorn and husband Ray, of Ada; sister, Luanne Norris, of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Sage Roberts and Wrenley Machin; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
