JERRY ELLIOTT

ADA-Services for Gerald Lee "Jerry" Elliott, 70, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Crosspointe Church, Rev. Shaun Wiebers will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Elliott died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at a local nursing home. He was born February 26, 1939 at Hammond, Inidana to James Robert and Vivian Howard Elliott. He graduated from Griffith High School in Indiana.

He married Wilma Fern Williams on July 5, 1959. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2009. Mr. Elliott owned and operated Jerry's Electric Service from 1972 until 2003. He was a member of Crosspointe Church and served on the board of directors of New Horizons. He also had served in the U. S. Air Force.

Survivors include a son, Paul Elliott and wife Tami, Ada; a granddaughter, Kennedy Elliott, Ada; grandson, Brock Elliott, Ada; one sister, Beverly Gottleb, Valparaiso, Indiana; and a brother, James Elliott, Wheatfield, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Phillip Elliott on December 8, 1997.

Bearers will be Ronnie Bates, Jack Martin, Louis Daniel, Scottie Morrison, Phil Dickinson and Tommy Schultz. Honorary bearer is Billy Ringwald.
