GERALD FLOWERS
ADA-A Visitation for friends and family will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home for Gerald Flowers, 84 of Ada.
Mr. Flowers died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at his home. He was born November 27, 1930 near Stonewall to Denman and Margie Gray Flowers. He attended Stonewall school and graduated from Stonewall High School. He attended college at East Central University.
He married Bonnie Knight on June 2, 1960. Mr. Flowers was an oil jobber for Skelly Oil and the owner of Flowers Oil Company. Later, he was employed with the First National Bank of Ada and Citizens Bank, and was a former driver for Roadrunner Medical Transportation. Mr. Flowers served in the U. S. Air Force from 1950 until being honorably discharged in 1954.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Flowers, of the home; a son, Gerald Dwaine Flowers of Ada; a grandson, Tanner Flowers and wife Shakota of Okmulgee; and a brother, Darris Flowers of Guthrie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, J. D. Flowers.
