ADA-Services for Georgia Faye Ford, 93, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Ford died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at her home. She was born July 27, 1915 at Valiant, Oklahoma to David Lee and Myrtie Morgan Davis. She lived in the Sunshine community as a child.
She married James Madison Ford on January 29, 1933 at Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1980 at Zapata, Texas. Mrs. Ford was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include a son, Jerald Ford, Ada; a daughter, Barbara Hawthorne and her husband Harold, Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Debra Lynn Higgins and Terry Hawthorne and his wife Marji; great grandchildren, Scott Higgins, Paige Hawthorne and Luke Hawthorne; one sister, Pauline Faulkner, Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Pat Mitchell, Joe Lee Walker, Terry Bob Summers, Henry Evans, Wade Drennan,Dee Moore and Pat Smith.
