GEORGE SWEET
STONEWALL-Services for George Wayne Sweet, 67, Stonewall are 12:00 Noon Thursday at the Crosspointe Church, Rev. Ken Nessel will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Sweet died Friday, December 24, 2010 at a Houston, Texas hospital. He was born February 22, 1943 at Ada, Oklahoma to Sydney Ray and Louise Rebecca Golden Sweet. He attended high school at Byng.
Mr. Sweet was a boilermaker for Fluor-Daniels until his retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Sweet, Ada, David Sweet, Texas and Christopher Sweet, Lawton; two daughters, Sherry Sweet, Lawton and Tina Bradley, Roff; a brother, Bob Sweet, Union Valley; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Irene Hunt of Stonewall.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Sweet; a sister, Virginia Wright; and a brother and sister who died at birth.
Bearers will be Christopher Sweet, Thomas Sweet, Jake Sweet, Bruce Ladue, Keith Wright and Lloyd Golden.
