George Scroggins

A private family gathering will be held at a later date for George Alvin Scroggins, 74, of Roff.

Mr. Scroggins passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home. He was born October 23, 1950 at Borger, Texas to Leoma "Curley" and Opal Crowder Scroggins. He graduated from Roff High School, where he was a member of the 1968 double State Championship teams of the Roff Tigers in Basketball and Baseball.

He married Susan Baker June 10, 1977. Mr. Scroggins built homes in the Ada area for many years. He loved to hunt and fish and he loved his family and his many friends. He was a longtime resident of Roff, which he loved and the people who lived in Roff.

Survivors include his wife, Susan, of the home; a son, Doug Scroggins and wife Sabrina of Duluth, MN; daughter Linsey Roberts and husband Justin of Roff; brother, James Scroggins of Ft. Gibson, OK; two sisters, Pat Greenback of Yukon and Leona Gipson of San Isabel, CO; and seven grandchildren, Kierstin Scroggins, Katie Scroggins, Blaine Scroggins, Aaron Scroggins, Caleb Pittman, Carleigh Roberts and Cayleigh Roberts; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
