ADA, OKLAHOMA-No services are planned at this time for George Dennis Moore, 78, of Ada.
Mr. Moore died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his home. He was born October 3, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Milo Jack and Edna Pridia Miller, and adopted by Angus and Eva Morse Moore. He graduated from high school in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
Mr. Moore was a Lineman Supervisor for Red Simpson, Inc. and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his companion, Patricia Ruth Pulsifer, of the home; a daughter, Deborah Carter of West Burlington, Iowa; a half-brother, Charles Nelson of Chicago; three half-sisters, Barbara Nelson of Wisconsin, Sandra Nelson of Chicago, IL, and Deborah Nelson of Missouri; three grandsons, Jim Jones, Anthony Jones and John Jones, all of Burlington, Iowa; two granddaughters, Tiffany and Kathy Vantiger, both of Georgia; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his adopted parents, Angus and Eva Morse Moore; a son, Michael Dennis Moore; and four sisters.
