Geneva Ann (Bowles) Brewer, age 82, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Ada, Oklahoma, with her sweetheart and husband of sixty-two years by her side.  Geneva graduated from Texas Eastern School of Nursing, Tyler, Texas, in 1959.  After graduating she went to work at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, in the vascular surgery department under Dr Michael DeBakey.  Geneva continued her career as a school nurse for Nacogdoches Independent School District for sixteen years and Alief Independent School District for eighteen years.  She enjoyed sewing, golfing, bird watching, gardening, travelling, and was an avid Bridge player.

Geneva is survived by her husband, Monroe Brewer; Teresa Marie (daughter) and her husband William Schroeder, James Markum Brewer (son) and his wife Lauri, Tim Brewer (son).  She had numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; but her greatest treasures were her grandchildren, Mackenzie Rushing, Chelsea Thomas, Megan Landreth, Thornton Brewer, Isabel Powers and four great grandchildren.
