Gene Pearson

Graveside services for Gene Melton Pearson, 80, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Alex Cemetery, Billy Don Cope and David Smith will officiate.

Mr. Pearson passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at his home. He was born December 30, 1939 in the Naples Community, Grady County, Oklahoma to Eustice and Nadell Cope Pearson.

He married Judy Ann Taylor August 4, 1961 in Alex. She preceded him in death July 10, 2017. Mr. Pearson retired from Halliburton and later was a farmer and rancher. Mr. Pearson was a member of the Church of Christ in Allen and formerly of Alex.

Survivors include a daughter, Gena Beasley; three sons, Kevin Pearson, Jamie Joe Pearson, and Tim Pearson and wife Toni; a sister, Donna Potter; his grandchildren, Jessy Harris, Jaxson Pearson and Jett Pearson; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Nash Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Neva Jo Smith; and brother, Jack Pearson.
