GENE CLARK, JR.
ADA-Services for Gene Anthony Clark, Jr. 44, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dewayne Ott and Brother Harold Holt will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Clark died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born February 7, 1964 at Ada, Oklahoma to Gene A. Clark, Sr. and Joy Greenwood Clark. He attended school in Ft. Worth, Texas. He also attended a school for medical training in Des Moines, Iowa. He moved to this area in 1984 from Ft. Worth, Texas.
He married Cyndi Basham on March 15, 1988 at Ada, Oklahoma.
Mr. Clark was a caregiver for disabled children and attended the Ada Baptist Temple.
Survivors include his children, Suzyrae Marie Clark, Monroe, Iowa, and Thurlow Wisdom Clark, Monroe, Iowa; his father, Gene A. Clark, Sr. and wife Nikki, Konawa; his mother, Joy Bohanon and husband Jan, Byng; a sister, Jacqueline Clark, Ada; nephews, Aaron and Michael Cooper, Ada; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurlow and Eva Clark, Homer, OK; and Francis Ott, Ada.
Bearers will be Aaron Cooper, Michael Cooper, Shawn Lyda, Shannon Ireland, Michael Inglehop, Tim Underwood, Joey Cooper, and Kenny Lyda. Honorary bearers will be Christopher Ott, Christian Ott, Gerald Scott, Kevin Greenwood, Marion Johnson, and Paul Campbell.
