GAYLE WRIGHT
ADA-Services for Gayle Wright, 64, of Ada are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Church of Christ. Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gayle was born October 24, 1950, to Millard J. and Tommie Parker Henry in Ada. She passed from this life on July 31, 2015.
As a lifelong resident of Ada, Gayle was known by many and loved by all. She had a contagious zest for life. She loved, and loved well.
Gayle married Jim Wright on Dec. 19, 1969. The two made their home in Ada where they raised their two sons, Brent and Scott Wright. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ of Ada, and worked as a dental assistant for 39 years with Dr. David Buxton, 1984-2006, and Dr. Mark Weems 2002-2015. Gayle treated her patients like family, and to her, they were. She also served as a volunteer at the Compassion Outreach Clinic of Ada. Serving, loving, helping, all words that accurately describe Gayle.
What Gayle loved best was family. She was passionate about making memories and spending time with the ones she loved - from a midnight movie premier with her grandson to hosting family reunions every summer.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; two sons, Brent Wright of Midland, TX and Scott Wright and wife Laura of Newcastle; and two grandsons, Jared and Joshua Wright, both of Newcastle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glen Henry.
Bearers will be Davey Cross, Bill Nelson, Ron Taylor, Bennie Cope, Peyton Patton and Parker Patton. Honorary bearers will be David Cross, Bill Adams, Mack Smith and Charles Meyer.
