Services for Gary Len Sherrell , 65, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday November 8th at H2O Church , Pastor Mike Barnett will officiate.

Gary Sherrell passed away Monday , November 4th at Ada Care Center. He was born August 8, 1954 at Ada to Len and Dorothy Sherrell. He graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa , Oklahoma.

Gary worked in the auto body business most of his life. He was of the Christian Faith and attended H2O church and served faithfully on the Safety team and Transformed inner healing team.

He had a strong connection with animals but he loved raising chickens. Some of the most memorable things he did for chickens were fighting the city on chicken ordinance in Taylor and Austin Texas when they tried to pass a law you could only have 2 chickens! He won by the way! He also built fancy chicken coops for Callahans General Store. His son said they would sell before he could get them off the trailer!

Survivors include one son, Corbin Tyler Sherrell and wife Chasidy , and one daughter Jodi Michelle Kendrick and husband Micah, two sisters , Teri Lynn Evans and husband Mark and Tricia Whisenant and husband Chris, two brothers, Vic Len Sherrell and wife Lisa and Wayne Dulin; five grandchildren, McKyla, McKenzie, Hunter , Jordan, Michael; nieces and nephews include Chelsea Simon , Austin Simon, Matthew Len Sherrell and wife Rachael and son Lucas Len Sherrell , Stacey Marie Sherrell , Cole Taylor Whisenant and wife Victoria and son Cash Taylor Whisenant and daughter Ava Louise Whisenant, Joei Rachelle Whisenant, Christopher Cade Whisenant.

He was preceded in death by his father Len Sherrell and step-mother Jean Sherrell.
