GALEY-Services for Gary Rutledge, 61, of Galey, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Boggs will officiate. Burial will follow at Egypt Cemetery.

Mr. Rutledge died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home. He was born November 26, 1952 at Ada, Oklahoma to Joe Cluck and Juanita Irene McGuire Cluck. He attended Glenwood and Irving grade schools and Vanoss, McLish and Byng high schools.

He married Helen Ruth Beene on August 27, 1971 in Ada. Mr. Rutledge was a brickmason.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Rutledge, of the home; a daughter, Lisa Hulsey and her husband Jeffery of Ada; a son, Layton Rutledge of Galey; a granddaughter, Ruthie Rutledge; one brother, Juston "Butch" Lehman and his wife Angie of Waco, TX; and a sister, Pam Oliver and her husband Charles of Waxahachie, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Barbara Fowler.

Bearers will be Richard Byrd, Charles Byrd, Roger Byrd, Kenny Pearce, Cody Pearce, Ronnie Pearce, David Gayler, Bob Wilson and Brian Baxley. Honorary bearers will be Larry Colbert, "Buckshot" Clark and Joe Roberts.
