ADA-Services for Gary Anderson Fox, 39, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at The River Church, Revs. Tony Folger and Jimmy Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Fox died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born October 14, 1971 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Floyd and Karen Jolley Fox. He lived in the Ada area all his life. He graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central University for two years.
He married Sherri Burnes on December 30, 1993 in Ada. Mr. Fox was a self-employed carpenter and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Sherri Fox, of the home; four sons, Stetson Blake Bowerman, Greenville, TX, and Gary Daulton Ashton Fox, Baeley Hunter Ward Fox, and Robert Taner Dawsun Fox, all of the home; his parents, Robert and Karen White of Ada, and Floyd and Linda Fox of Bathe, PA; his grandmother, Patricia Jolley, Ada; three sisters, Teresa Haggard and husband Loyd, McLoud, Kresta Lofton and husband Chris, Sulphur, and Jamie Easley, Ada; one brother, Brian Fox, Ada; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Jolley, grandparents, Lester and Clara Freeman; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Walls.
Bearers will be Les Gregory, Andy Lee, Shannon White, Carman Burns, Marty Coppack and James Bierce. Honorary bearers will be past baseball and football players.
