GARY AINSWORTH

ADA- Services for Gary Ainsworth, 60, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church, Rev. James Crowson and Mr. John Jacobs will officiate. Burial will follow at Kiowa Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Criswell Funeral Home. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors.

Mr. Ainsworth died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born July 28, 1947 at Atoka, Oklahoma to Jack H. and Media Ann Cox Ainsworth. He attended Limestone Gap and Kiowa schools. He received an Associate Degree from Murray State College in Tishomingo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Southeastern University in Durant. He moved to Ada in August, 1992 from McAlester, Oklahoma.

He married Linda Hallmark on January 17, 1967. Mr. Ainsworth owned State Beauty Supply Stores, previously, he was employed as quality assurance supervisor at the Denison Safeway Stores. In 1989, he was employed with Look, Inc. in quality control, and later served as Vice-President for Look, Inc. and he worked as Plant Manager for Surgical Specialties. He was currently serving on the Board of Directors at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club, and served in the U. S. Army Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ainsworth, of the home; two daughters, Lisa Ainsworth, Konawa, and Landa Ainsworth, Portland, Oregon; his parents, Jack H. and Media Ann Ainsworth, Chockie, Oklahoma; a brother, David Edward Ainsworth, Chockie, Oklahoma; a niece, Andrea Lauren Ainsworth, Wylie Texas, and a nephew, Zachery David Ainsworth, Wylie, Texas.

Bearers will be Rich Calhoun, Harvey Bollinger, Brian Gourley, Derrell Meek, and Gary Mabray. Honorary bearers will be his high school class members.
