ADA-Services for Gail Marlene Karimi-Stevenson, 60, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Allen School Auditorium, Rabbi Abby Jacobson will officiate. Burial will follow at Pryor Cemetery, near Stuart, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Karimi died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born August 30, 1949 at Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Lillian Kanter Most. She graduated from high school in Pasadena, Texas and received a Bachelor's degree in Education.
She married Ronnie Stevenson on March 24, 1997 in Florida. Mrs. Karimi-Stevenson was employed with Woodbridge Elementary school in Tampa, Florida retiring in 2002 after 30 years of service. She and her husband moved to Ada in 2002 from Tampa. Mrs. Karimi-Stevenson volunteered every day at the Allen school library and she was of the Jewish faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Stevenson, of the home; several cousins; and two nieces and a nephew.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Gail Karimi Memorial Fund, c/o the Allen School Library, P. O. Box 343, Allen, OK 74825.
