FREELAND COLBERT
STONEWALL-Services for Freeland Colbert, 73, of Stonewall, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Ada, Rev. Napoleon Washington will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The National Guard Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Colbert died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at his home. He was born April 28, 1940 in the Leader Community, near Stonewall to Osborne Colbert and Grace Johnson Colbert. He graduated from Tupelo High School.
Mr. Colbert was employed with Brockway Glass Company in Ada until his retirement, and later was a painter for J. P. Emco Manufacturing. He served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Mary, of the home; and other relatives and friends.
