ADA-Services for Rev. Freddie Lawrence Clark, Jr., 61, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Reaper Baptist Church, Dr. C. R. Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Rev. Clark died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born September 2, 1946 at Ada, Oklahoma to Freddie Lawrence Clark, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Faster Clark. He attended Napier school and graduated from Ada High School. Rev. Clark also attended East Central University.
He married Gale Virginia Daniels on February 16, 1967. Rev. Clark was the pastor of Reaper Baptist Church for 20 years. Previously, he served as minister at Lehigh Baptist Church for two years. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the 1960's.
Survivors include his wife, Gale Clark, of the home; a daughter, Sammie Berus and husband Chris, Midwest City; a son, Cosby Brent Clark, Ada; his mother, Dorothy Clark, Ada; two sisters, Mary Doris Black and husband Clayton, Oklahoma City, and Charles Elizabeth Williamson, Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Jourdan Lynne Clark, Kennedy Kaelyn Berus, and Broc Avry Berus, Midwest City; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Cameron Davis, Ashley Hoover, Ross Hoover, Byron Rogers, Gary Hoover, Aaron Gray, Timmy Little, and Jeffrey Clark.
