CLARITA TROWBRIDGE
PICKETT-Graveside services for Freda Clarita Trowbridge, 82, Pickett are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Lexington Cemetery.
Mrs. Trowbridge died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at her home. She was born December 28, 1926 at Verden, Oklahoma to George M. and Goldie Pearl Sears Murrah. She graduated from Crooked Oak High School.
She married Reese G. Trowbridge on September 1, 1953. He preceded her in death July, 1989. Mrs. Trowbridge was bank teller for the First State Bank and later was the secretary for the Dietary Division of Central State Hospital, retiring in the 1980's. Later, she worked part-time for State Credit Union. Mrs. Trowbridge was a member of the Lexington Church of Christ. She moved to Ada in 2001 from Lexington.
Survivors include a son, Geary W. Trowbridge and wife Helen, Ada; a daughter, Clarice K. Smith and husband James, Kingston; a brother, Ray Murrah and wife Bernice, Lexington; a sister, Lanora Conn and husband Dwight, Bethany; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Murrah.
