WANNETTE-Services for Franklin Dee "Junior" Nelson, Jr., 66, Wanette are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel
Mr. Nelson died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born September 3, 1941 at Ahloso, Oklahoma to Frank and Sarah Owens Nelson. He attended elementary school at Ahloso. He also attended Cameron University in Lawton.
He married Rebecca Martin. Mr. Nelson was a truck driver and a member of Faith Abundant Worship Center in Norman.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Nelson, of the home; two sons, Tommy Lynn Mchulen,Oklahoma City, and James Dean Nelson, Branson, Missouri; three daughters, Marggie Johnson, Indiana, Rachel Lee Withafeater, South Dakota, and Keri Nelson, of the home; four brothers, Jack Fazier, Norman, Jerry Nelson, Stratford, Cecil Nelson, Ada, and Roger Neeley, Bartlesville; and three sisters, Irene Nelson, Stonewll, Gladys Nelson, Ada, and Jerry Burnett, Henryetta; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Patrick Nelson, and a brother, Earl Owens.
