MRS. FRANKIE SUMMERS
DENISON, TX-Services for Mrs. Frankie Faye Summers, 86, Denison, TX, formerly of Ada and Allen, are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Joe Howry and Joe Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Summers died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Denison, Texas. She was born August 15, 1924 at McCall's Chapel Community, near Allen, Oklahoma to James Andrew and Janette McCarron Douglas. She lived in the Allen area for many years and attended McCall's Chapel grade school and Ada High School.
She married Raymond E. "Ray" Summers on June 2, 1972. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2010. Mrs. Summers was employed with McCurley-Bayless Drug Store, and later was the office manager for Dr. John Oglesbee in Allen.
Survivors include two daughters, Dena Wood and her husband Jimmy, Plano, TX and Debi Andrews and her husband Lloyd, Denison, TX; two sons, Tom Patterson and Cathy Moreland, Seminole, and Bobby Patterson and his wife Linda, Blue Springs, MO; five step-children, Donald, Kathie, Diane, Jimmy and Sheila; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
