FRANCES RYE
NORMAN-Services for Frances Darlene Stout Rye, 80, Norman, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. George Carson will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mrs. Rye died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at a Norman hospital. She was born December 12, 1927 at Hickory, Oklahoma to Owen and Ada Mae Carmichael Stout. She attended Hickory, Union Valley, and Stonewall schools.
She married William A. "Bill" Rye on November 15, 1945 at Reedley, California. He died March 24, 1999 in Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Rye was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Tracy Rye and wife Peggy, Norman; a daughter, Janie Stettler and husband Rick, Ada; four grandchildren, Chris Stettler, Melanie Kircus and husband Greg, David Blevins-Rye, and Tiara Rye; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Makenna Kircus; one brother, Wilburn Stout, Ada; and one sister, Ida Jean Little, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Stout and Mae Stout Henry, her husband, and a sister, Doris Dailey.
Bearers will be Calvin Nolen, Rick Stettler, Chris Stettler, Greg Kircus, David Blevins-Rye, David Stettler, and Jason Wessler.
