ALLEN-Services for Frances Diane Raney, 67, Allen are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Charles Mays, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
Mrs. Raney died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born April 15, 1943 at Oakland, California to Ray E. and Dora Ozella Wilkinson Mays. She graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
She married Paul A. Raney on March 6, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2000. Mrs. Raney was a homemaker and a member of the Allen First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gina Mann, Allen; three sons, Randy Raney and wife Candace, Allen, Rick Raney and wife Patricia, Wilburton, and Darrel Raney, Ada; one sister, Janet Gum and husband Rick, Granite City, Illinois; two brothers, C. E. Mays and wife Janice, Fort Worth, Texas, and Jimmy Mays and wife Nelda, Saginaw, Texas; four grandchildren, Cody Jackson and wife Kristin, Stratford, Clay Raney, Ada, Cheyenne Raney, Wilburton and Miranda Raney, Allen; one great grandson, Jace Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Glenda Gill, and a grandson, Logan Raney.
