FLOYD JARRETT
ADA-Services for Floyd Leon Jarrett, 63, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church, the Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Floyd died Friday, March 6, 2015, at his home. He was born July 21, 1951, to Clifford and Mary Jarrett at Miami, Arizona. After graduating from Allen High School, Floyd served in the National Guard and an additional four years in the United States Navy. He was employed as a mold technician at Flex N Gate for 30 years. Floyd was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and took great joy in sharing his passions with his grandchildren.
Mr. Jarrett and Marilyn Lemmings were married June 2, 1979, at Ada.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of the home; two daughters, Michelle Thrower and fiance' Rodney Grady, Shawnee, and Kendra Grasser and her husband Ben Grasser, Asia; four grandchildren, Alec Thrower, Layne Thrower, Josiah Grasser and Mailey Grasser; two brothers, Louis Jarrett and his wife Barbara, Allen, and Ed Jarrett and his wife Carol, Ada; and numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.
Mr. Jarrett was preceded in death by his parents.
