FLOYD BURK
FITZHUGH-Memorial services for Floyd Burk, Jr., 72, of Fitzhugh are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mr. Burk died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born June 15, 1940 in Oil Center, Oklahoma to Floyd and Oleta Collins Burk. He attended Summers Chapel and Vanoss grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.
Mr. Burk was a cattleman and truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Jason "Bo" Burk of Ada; three daughters, Darla Burk of Oregon, Kathy Sinclair of Wewoka, and Jeanne Foxx and husband Tim of Edmond; a brother, Lloyd Burk and his wife JoAnn of Ada; and three grandchildren, Cody Priest, Jason Burk, Jr., and Haley Burk; and several nieces and nephews including William Griffin and Janetta Matthews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Wayne Burk and Danny Burk; and a sister, Betty Barrett.
