Services for Floyd Booker, 62, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Amous will officiate. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Dinner will be served at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center following the service at 3:30.  A wake service will be held at Criswell Funeral Home on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Booker passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his home. Floyd was born December 11, 1960 at Konawa, Oklahoma. He attended school at Byng and later went to Ada High and was a four-year letterman in football. He was known as "Speedy" Booker. He was baptized at an early age.

Floyd went to work after graduating from high school at Brockway Glass Company in Ada until it closed and later went to work at McCall's Chapel School. He worked there for 15 years as the Director of Maintenance until his passing.

Preceding Floyd in death is his father, Herbert Booker; and his grandparents, Raymond and Doretha Jefferson.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Clark; and two children, Courtnie Booker and Benigno Ruiz and Jarrel Booker and his wife Krysten, all of Ada; his grandchildren, Rakhia Booker, Raela Booker and Rynlee Booker, Kason Ruiz, Kendrick Ruiz and Benny "Zeke" Ruiz and Luna Ruiz; two brothers, Chester Clark, Jr. and Kirk Clark, both of Ada; one nephew; a great-nephew; two great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Floyd will be missed dearly.

Bearers will be Donavan Clark, Craig Simmons, Thomas Clark, Tevin Simmons, Nathaniel Blakley, III, DeMarcus Nelson, Christopher Davis and Diontee Albert. Honorary bearers will be Chester Clark, Jr., Kirk Clark, Maurice Clark, LeRoy Miller, Olain Jefferson, Alonzo Albert, Donald James, Mike Cowan, Gary Stellburg and Nathaniel Blakley, Jr. Flower bearers will be Rakhia Booker, Sami Clark, Mandra Clark, Viola Simmons, Inola Simmons, Bridgette Stellburg, Eulanda Jefferson, Aaliyah Blakley, Sheila Jefferson and Khalena Davis.
