ALLENE SPENCER
ADA-Services for Floy Allene Spencer, 65, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Gardner will officiate. Burial will follow Maxwell cemetery.
Mrs. Spencer died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her home. She was born September 25, 1943 at Alamagordo, New Mexico to Clyde and Hazel Sutton Davis. She graduated from high school in 1962 and also received a master's degree in psychology.
She married Richard Spencer on September 22, 1972 in Texas. She and her family moved to Ada in 1972 from Oklahoma City. Mrs. Spencer was a self-employed bookkeeper.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Spencer, of the home; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Coffman, Bethany and Karen Sue Lee, Edmond; three sons, Richard Bryant Spencer and wife Vicki, Noble, Jayson Spencer and wife Jamie, Stonewall, and Logan Spencer and wife April, Ada; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Beverly Denman, Lubbock, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Kaylee Lynette Spencer.
Bearers will be Rickey Chappell Jr., J. D. Vandewalker, Doug Powell, George Phillips, Scott Jackson and Ryan Gatlin.
