Faye Willis Cook, age 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep September 1 ^st , 2021 at the Jan Frances Care Center in Ada, Oklahoma.  She was born March 22, 1930 at Stecker, Oklahoma, to R.A. and Alice Willis.  She attended grade school at Oney, Oklahoma, and later moved to California with family where she attended high school at Hanford, California.  She married Harold Ray Cook on April 4 ^th , 1948 at Valley Center, California.  They moved to Hartshorne, Oklahoma in 1955 and then to Ada in 1964.  She received a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from East Central University, Ada.  She taught school in Dougherty, Seminole, and Ada Public Schools.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Susanne Sheffield (Forrest), her parents, eight sisters, and three brothers.

She is survived by a son Dr. Paul R. Cook (Mary) of Red Lodge, Montana, grandchildren Cherith Loden Nanney (Brian) of Blue Springs, Mississippi, Nathan Sheffield (Leah) of Saltillo, Mississippi, John Cook (Jamie) of Arlington, Virginia, and Laura Cook Blond of Nye, Montana, and great grandchildren Evelyn and Paisley Sheffield of Saltillo, Mississippi, Stephen and Elena Cook of Arlington, Virginia, and Maria, Dallas, Jordan, and Makayla Loden of Mississippi.

Services will be at Trinity Baptist Church on Friday, September 10, at 10am.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Oklahoma.
