FARRELL DONAGHEY
ADA-Services for Farrell Frank Donaghey, 75, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Donaghey died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born April 14, 1935 at Ada, Oklahoma to Gorham and Alleyne Lindley Donaghey. He lived in Ada all his life, attended Irving school and graduated from Ada High School in 1954.
He married Melba Jane Rives on September 15, 1956. She preceded him in death on June 17, 1997. Mr. Donaghey was the former co-owner of Donaghey Greenhouse for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a former youth baseball coach and a member of the Ada Lodge #1640 B.P.O.E.
Survivors include three sons, Jamie Donaghey and wife Prissy, Burdette, Texas, Bart Donaghey and wife Teresa, Roff, OK, and Milt Donaghey and wife Kelley, Ada, OK; a brother, Jerry Donaghey and wife Norma, Ada; an uncle, Milton (Junior) Lindley, Cromwell; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Carole Donaghey in 1954.
Bearers will be Buddy Henley, Gene Thomas, Scott Poe, Bruce Brents, Tony Cole, and Kenneth Roberts.
