Evelyn Keefer

Graveside services for Evelyn Mae Denney Keefer, 95, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate.

Mrs. Keefer died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at a local nursing home. She was born March 24, 1925 at Greenway, Arkansas to Louis Delbert and Lucy Jane Milde Denney.

She married Howard Eugene (Gene) Keefer on February 16, 1943. He preceded her in death. In 1953 she moved with her family to Ada where she and her husband started Keefer Supply Company and enjoyed celebrating over 60 years in business.

Evelyn was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and was active in many local civic and social organizations. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to visit over 65 countries or islands.

Survivors include a son, Paul Keefer and wife Cindy; son-in-law, Bob Diamond; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis (Pete) Denney and Lucy Denney; her husband, Howard (Gene) Keefer; a daughter, Janice Diamond; and a brother, Glenn Denney.
