Evelene Rodgers

Services for Evelene Mary Rodgers, 80, of Canadian, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rodgers passed away February 18, 2026, at her home.  She was born September 13, 1945, in Centrahoma to Charlie and Lorene Forrester.

On September 11, 1968, she married Auston Rodgers.  She was the Owner of Rodgers Bait and Tackle until her retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Auston, of the home; son, Thomas Rodgers and wife, Joanna; sister, Cathlene Allen; grandchild, Cecile Rodgers; and four great grandchildren, Rayleigh Timmreck, Mayleigh Timmreck, Chesleigh Timmreck, and Anthony Timmreck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith Hunt; son, Tony Rodgers; sister, Charlene McCurdy; and sister, Corene Abbott.
