Govern yourselves accordingly, a PRIME has left! Evea "Mae" Hamilton Lyons was born on Dec 15, 1960, to the parentage of Deacon Will J. Hamilton and Maple Colbert Hamilton. She was the 1st of 10 children born to this union. On Sept 13, 2021, she received her "wings".

Evea Hamilton-Lyons would always say if you acted a fool your whole life, don't fall out now. She often quoted: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. "Galatians 6:7 KJV

Evea Hamilton-Lyons made her life count. She loved JESUS and she faithfully attended church at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family and had a special love for all of her beautiful grandchildren. She called her husband Arnold Ray Lyon's her baby back rib.

Evea Hamilton-Lyons made her life count.  She worked hard and poured her life out for the betterment of her family. Her hobbies included shopping at Goodwill and going to garage sales. She was an excellent cook. Her specialties included Cheesecake and Pashofa!

Evea Hamilton-Lyons made her life count. She was selfless in countless ways including feeding others when she had so little. She found joy in gift-giving. Her gentle, caring spirit will be remembered by family and friends. Her favorite saying was, ALL IS WELL.

Evea graduated from Stonewall High School in 1979 and then attended East Central University.  Mrs. Lyons worked for Wrangler then became a caretaker at DJK Enterprises until her death.

Evea Mae married Arnold Lyons in May of 1996 (for forty years as she would like to say).  She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a devout Christian.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Lyons, of the home; two sons, Tim Hamilton of Oklahoma City and Cody Lyons of Ada; three daughters, Natosha Lyons of Ada, Shelby Harris and husband Matthew of Ada, Chameka Smith and husband Frankie, of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren of the home, Darrian Awoye, Kaydence Hamilton, Kyla Hamilton and Kameryn Meely; 16 grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret, Shelia, DeAnn and Marvine; five brothers, Deacon Jeff Hamilton and wife Yolanda, Deacon Stephen Hamilton and wife Wendy, David Hamilton and wife Jalean, Andy Hamilton, Dale Hamilton and wife Donnulette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lacey Lyons and aunt, Doris Colbert.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Hamilton, Jeremiah Kelly, Daryl Hamilton, Will J. Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton, Dale Hamilton, David Hamilton, Andy Hamilton, Stephen Hamilton and Ray Elbert.

Flower bearers are Yolanda Hamilton, Margaret Hamilton, Karen Colbert, Tameka Hamilton, Marvine Hamilton, Wendy Smith and Stephanie Colbert.

Services for Evea Mae Hamilton Lyons, of Stonewall, OK are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Stonewall, OK, Pastor Garry Bruner and Joshua Sumers will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests mask be worn at the service.
