EVAN ANDERSON
ADA-Services for Evan Dee Anderson, 22, Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. Scott Miller, Rev. Lucas Cane and Rev. Jarrod Newby will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died Thursday, February 24, 2011 near Ada. He was born February 3, 1989 at Ada, Oklahoma to Bobby Jack and Dena Gayle Willoughby Anderson. He graduated from Vanoss High School in 2007 and had attended East Central University.
He married Emily Nicole Briggs on December 4, 2010. Mr. Anderson was a Herbal Life Distributor and attended Legacy Church. He was a former assistant Youth Pastor at Legacy Church and had also served as a Youth Pastor at Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a member of One Body Band, the Legacy Church Band and the Ada Judo Club.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Anderson, of the home; his parents, Bobby and Dena Anderson, Ada; two sisters, Logan Anderson and Lexi Anderson of Ada; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Scott Anderson; his paternal grandparents, Elton and Mary Anderson; and his maternal grandparents, Dee and Jewel Willoughby.
Bearers will be Tyler Mackey, Jake Hawley, Jerrod Presley, Jarrod Newby, Benji Harper, Josh Lee, Taylor Stokes and Dal Willoughby. Honorary bearers are Bobby Briggs, Bill Briggs, Heath Briggs, Kyle Ritter and all the former youth group members.
