EVA WALLIS
ADA-Services for Eva Mae Wallis, 71, Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Rodger Arter will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Miss Wallis died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born November 7, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma to Egbert Monroe and Orbie Mae Acrey Wallis. She attended Ada schools.
Miss Wallis was a cook at Jan Francis nursing home retiring after 20 years of service.
Survivors include a brother, Delbert Gene Wallis, Byng; one sister, Jo Wilfong and her husband Glen, Henrietta, TX; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Barbara Laxton, Ada.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Dovie Lancaster, Barbara Roundtree, Louise Currier and Juanita Wallis, and brothers, Bud Wallis, Glen Wallis, Bittie Wallis, Floyd Wallis, and Bert Wallis.
Bearers will be Lloyd F. Currier, Lloyd N. Currier, Wayne Lancaster, Bill Briggs, Jeff Wallis and Rob Doolen.
