ADA-Graveside services for Eva Mae Kerr James, 85, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Allen Cemetery, John Kerr officiating.
Mrs. James died on Monday, December 24, 2007, at a local nursing home. She was born September 8, 1922, at Allen, to Herman Ovid and Rose Alice Wallace Pegg. She attended school at Allen and was a homemaker. She was a member of Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She married Robert H. "Bob" Kerr on February 7, 1937, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She later married W. L. "Bill" James on July 17, 1972.
Survivors include two sons, John Kerr and his wife Phyllis, Ada; and David Kerr, Ft. Worth, Texas; grandsons, Kerry Kerr and his wife Becky, Carl Junction, Missouri; and Kelly Kerr and his wife Genie, Jenks, Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Delisa (Kerr) Ging and her husband Todd, Enid, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Holly Kerr, Hannah Kerr, Julia Kerr, John Austin Kerr, Toby Ging and Taylor Ging; stepsons, Billy Joe James, Ada; Donnie James, Stonewall; and Ronnie James, Ada. She was preceded in death by husbands, Bob Kerr and Bill James, and great granddaughter, Johnna Lynn Kerr.
Bearers are Kerry Kerr, Kelly Kerr, Todd Ging, Kennedy Brown, Gary Haney and Donnie James.
