EVA CROW
ADA-Services for Eva Crow, 87, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Ray Talbott and David Browning will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Crow died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 22, 1926 in Fewel, Oklahoma in Pushmataha County to Joseph "Joe" Brown and Emmaline Walden Brown. She attended Star School. She later received a Licensed Practical Nursing license from Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada.
She married Hansford T. "Buddy" Crow on March 16, 1946. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1999. Mrs. Crow was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Coalgate, Atoka and Ada hospitals. She was a member of the Oak Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her five sons, Shannon Crow and wife Vickii, Norman, Dana Crow and wife Kathy, Miama, OK, Lynn Crow and wife Susie, Wynnewood, Dale Crow and wife Denise, Centrahoma, and Dean Crow and wife Jamie, Blanchard; two brothers, Clarence Brown of California, and Arnel Brown, Huntsville, TX; two sisters, Lola Conaster, Coalgate, and Vada Moses, Claremore; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers and sisters, Forrest Brown, Verna Henshaw, Phoenix Brown, Rufus, Brown, Ruby Crumpley, Bob Brown, Hazel Henshaw, and Harlan Brown.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Clifton Crow, Tyler Crow, Matt Crow, Nick Crow, Adam Crow, James Bouse and Jamie Sasnett. Honorary bearers will be Phil Drennan, Dakota Hedgecock, Thomas Madden, Tom Heck and Wade Powell.
