ADA-Memorial services for Eunice Thornton Jahns, 88, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David McCann will officiate.
Mrs. Jahns died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at her home. She was born March 12, 1920 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to John R. and Imogene Olive Nix Thornton. She graduated from high school and also attended college. She moved to Ada from Littleton, Colorado.
She married Daniel F. Jahns. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1994 in Ada. Mrs. Jahns was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ada. She volunteered several years with the gift shop at Valley View Regional Hospital. She was involved with her church, charities and helping Jeffrey Jahns, her youngest son who resides at McCall's Chapel.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel F. Jahns Jr., Santa Barbara, California, Timothy R. Jahns, Upland, California, and Jeffrey M. Jahns, McCall's Chapel School in Ada.
