EULA HASSKARL
ADA-Services for Eula Faye Hasskarl, 76, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the First Lutheran Church, Pastor Gary Brandt will officiate. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas, Pastor Bill Holzer will officiate.
Mrs. Hasskarl died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at her home. She was born April 6, 1934 at Bakerville, Missouri to Bert and Erma Boswell Richardson. She attended high school at Deering, Missouri and graduated from the University of Texas in 1955.
She married Professor Robert A. (Doc) Hasskarl on March 30, 1956. Doc preceded her in death on November 18, 2006. Mrs. Hasskarl was the comptroller for Pecan Producers in Ada until her retirement. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She was active in the Pontotoc County Genealogical Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the B.P.O.E #1640 Elks Lodge where she served as an active officer.
Survivors include two sons, James Hasskarl, of the home, and Leif Hasskarl and wife Nancy, Lexington, TX; and one granddaughter and three grandsons.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the First Lutheran Church, 1319 E. 18th Street, Ada, OK 74820; the Pontotoc County Geneological Society, 221 W. 16th, Ada, OK 74820; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Bearers will be Lyle Bailey, Lowell Leach, Keith Buelow, Dale Snow, Charles Null and Bob Ardiana.
