Eugene Miller
PAULS VALLEY-Services for Eugene Miller, 65, of Pauls Valley, formerly of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Reaper Baptist Church, Elder Charles Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Athens Cemetery.
Mr. Miller died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his home. He was born July 13, 1949 in Ada to Johnny and Myrtle Louise Seals Miller. He attended Napier grade school and graduated from Byng High School in 1967. He attended East Central University and majored in Business Administration.
Mr. Miller served in the U. S. Air Force as a Marine Engine Maintenance Technician. He was honorably discharged in 1972. He then served in the U. S. Air Force Reserves. Mr. Miller was a mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service in Ada and had also worked for Curwood Industries Inc. and the Choctaw Living Center. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Candyce Roshon Miller, Oklahoma City, Brea LaShun Miller, Edmond and Isabella Louise Miller, Pauls Valley; a step-daughter, Tonya Rose Johnson, Norman; four sisters, Doretha B. Albert, San Francisco, CA, Betty Jean Coulter, Oklahoma City, Bernice Lewis, Ada and Bertha Mae Miller, Oklahoma City; and two brothers, Roosevelt Miller, Ada and Charles Ray Miller and wife Edie, Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Myrtle Louise Miller; three brothers, Johnny Miller, Jr, Robert Lee Miller and Edward Miller; and a sister, Maxine Miller.
Bearers will be Richard E. Bullard, Ray Seals, Craig Rogers, Mike Rogers, Eric Vincent, Wade Wright, Robert Miller and Stanley Peters, Jr. Flower bearers will be LaShawn Gallimore, Shirley "Gib" Brown, Judy Brown, Chelle McDonald, Donna Anderson, Yvonne Brown and Regina Walker.
