ETTA AMOS
ADA-Services for Etta Sue Amos, 71, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Dixon Chapel, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Amos died Friday, October 7, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born June 22, 1940 in Washita County, Oklahoma to Gabriel L. and Etter B. Hurst Smith.
Ms. Amos had lived in the Dallas area and was employed as a cashier before moving to the Ada area.
Survivors include a daughter, Bertha Easter, Rockwall, TX; a son, Ricky Amos, Gladewater, TX; three brothers, Jimmy Smith of Ada, and Kenneth Smith and Clarence Smith, both of Dallas, TX; a sister, Patsy Smith of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Emily Ann Easter and her husband Don, Linda Gail Amos, Mary Grace Amos, and Elizabeth Smith; and one great granddaughter, Emily June Easter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Smith.
