ESSIE ROARK
ADA-Graveside services for Essie Ollie Roark, 95, of Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate.
Mrs. Roark died Friday, October 17, 2014 at her home. She was born November 28, 1918 in Tamaha, Oklahoma to Walter and Lou Blaylock Roark.
Mrs. Roark moved to Ada in 1934 and worked in the public most of her life. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Ada.
Survivors include three nephews, Mike Roark of Owasso, Tim Roark of Hutchinson, KS, and Randy Roark of Bixby; and two nieces, Penny Burkett of Bedford, TX and Jean Peterson and husband William of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lee Roark and Donald E. Roark; and a sister, Thelma Tribble.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the First Baptist Church, 521 S. Broadway, Ada, OK 74820.
