ESPEN 'RED' BRASHIER
SASAKWA-Graveside services for Espen Nathan "Red" Brashier, 86, are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Vamoosa Cemetery with Drew Isaacs officiating.
Mr. Brashier died Friday at his home. He was born April 8, 1928 in Johnston County, Oklahoma to Nathan Brashier and Navada Sliger Brashier. He attended Boles Springs School in Johnston County.
He married Sue Bell on August 21, 1952. Mr. Brashier was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Sue, of the home; two sons, Robert Brashier and wife Deborah of Harrah, Oklahoma and Larry Brashier and wife Deborah of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter, Darla Redmond and husband C.J. of Ada; one sister, Ozie Brock; one daughter-in-law, Rae Del Brashier of Vancouver, Washington; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gary Wayne Brashier; two grandsons, Jeremie Woodall and James Dustin Swink Brashier and one brother and three sisters
Pall bearers will be sons, Robert Brashier, Larry Brashier, grandsons, Ryan Brashier and Zachary Brashier, son-in-law, C.J. Redmond and grandson-in-law, Bradley Wiggins.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to a favorite charity.
