Ernestine Griffin

Services for Ernestine Griffin, 85, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Steve Wilburn and Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Griffin passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Oklahoma City. She was born December 6, 1940, in Madill, to Ernest Monroe and Pearlie Mae Levins Purser.

On November 26, 1957, she married Glen Dale Griffin.

Survivors include her husband, Glen, of the home; two daughters, Tami Sarrett and husband, Rusty and Jill Bloodworth and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jackson and Griffin Fife; Misty Donoho, and Jett Starrett; and great grandchildren, Brett, Jalen, Jonathon, Lucian, and Rowan; and great great grandchildren, Madilynn, Myra, and Carson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jana Leigh Griffin; and brothers, Harold Gene Purser and Laymond Dale Purser.

Bearers are Rick Bloodworth, Griffin Fife, Jackson Fife, Rusty Sarrett, and Jett Sarrett.

To the caregivers who became like family through their love, patience and care for Ernestine. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you for the comfort and dignity you provided every day. Your dedication, warmth and compassionate care brought peace and comfort to our family. The family sincerely thanks all caregivers for their compassionate care and support.
